L’Oreal Pure Clay Detox Mask

As mentioned in my last post I said this was the mask I couldn’t wait to try next but was out of stock. Well I finally got my grubby little mitts on it and oh my… It smells gooooood! If you’re sensitive to smells this probably isn’t for you but it really does have an “mmmm ahhh” effect and if you don’t like the smell, the mask is that good that it’s worth dealing with.

The packaging is really sturdy and I like that it’s a pot, I usually use the plastic lid that’s inside to scoop some out to save dipping my hands in. The glass jar looks quite nice in the bathroom cabinet too.

It applied really nicely, smoothly and a little does go a long way. Especially if you do the multi masking that L’Oreal have been promoting. To be fair I don’t think I would ever have the motivation to use more than one mask at a time.

It dried evenly, and I could really see the oils being pulled out of my pores, it’s disgusting yet amazing.. If you like that sort of thing. The mask claims to detoxify and exfoliate and I agree!

Taking the mask off was probably the best part, it didn’t take ages like some I’ve tried and with a warm wet face cloth it just eased off, I didn’t have to tug at my face to get the last few dry bits, and my skin felt really soft after.

I have tried the mask a few times now and I am really enjoying using it, I still need to try the Purity Mask from L’Oreal but I don’t feel in a rush to buy it as I think I will be using this for awhile.

Have you tried it? If so let me know in the comments or feel free to find me on Twitter 🙂 @lucyluvsbeautyx

Hope you’re all well, and I know I haven’t posted in awhile. I struggle to have motivation for anything in August! No excuses I know! Thank you for sticking around 😘

      1. Great! I’ll have to check it out, thanks for recommending that as I often struggle with finding a face mask which won’t irritate my skin 🙂 x
