My Favourite Eyeshadows

I am going to be 100% honest and I must say I haven’t been a loyal eyeshadow wearer, as long as I have mascara on I am set… and brows!

Here are the eye products I love and everything listed here is all I have in my collection now as I feel I don’t need any extra.

Started with my favourite… Too Faced Naturals Palette: I bought this with a birthday voucher and I haven’t regretted it. My most used shades are Nude, Silk Teddy and Honey Pot… There is a theme in the colours I like. This palette is so pigmented, hardly any fall out on me and its a small palette so perfect for over night stays and putting in my handbag.

Urban Decay Naked Palette: This was one of my first ‘high end’ eyeshadow palettes and it was love at first sight. I love LOVE Sin, Naked and Half Baked, I even have separate pots of this shades as I was using them every day. Again with these no fallout and easy to blend, this is definitely a staple eyeshadow palette for me as you can create so many looks.

Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette: James bought this for me for my birthday and it is great to create an every day look, I will be honest the shades as pigmented as I am used to with the above palettes and a little fallout, however, I still love this palette. I will get more use out of this in Autumn/Winter I think as there are more Autumnal shades like Freshly Toasted and Warm Notes. Will go well with MAC Rebel I think. For a general day to day look though I usually use Sweeter End and Pure Ganache.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo On and On Bronze: I have mentioned this a few times in these neck of the woods, I love using this as a base for a Gold eyeshadow look, just keeps the shadows in place for longer. I use this on its own too if I want something on my eyes and want to do my make up quickly.

Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette: Again James bought this for me for my birthday, I have the Cocoa Blend and this one on my Wishlist since before Christmas. I heard mixed reviews about this palette though so was a little worried I wouldn’t like it (especially as it was a gift…) that said… I really love it. Not as an everyday look but definitely for a meal out or going out out. I love all the matte shades, they are very easy to blend. My favourite shades in this palette are Puree and Cobbler. I think this palette is perfect for creating Spring/Summer looks and will go really well with shades like MAC Little Buddha. Also as a side note…. it smells INCREDIBLE.

What is your favourite eyeshadow palette?

  1. Thanks for sharing! I’m me to makeup and posts like this are super helpful. 😊 Do you mind… What does fallout mean with eye shadow? And where do you like buying Urban Decay and Two Faced products? Thanks! 💕

    1. Hi Valerie! Fallout is when you put the shadow on your eyelid and some product falls down on your cheek or lower lash (its super annoying if you’ve done face makeup lol) I like to get my products from either Debenhams or Boots 🙂 thank you for commenting xxxx

  2. I’ve heard some very mixed reviews of the Sweet Peach palette – I’m delighted to hear that you get so much use out of it! I am really tempted to swatch it when I’m next in Debenhams! Thanks so much for sharing these, it’s always interesting to find out what people have been loving!

  4. The peach palette always looks amazing but I never bought it because I have so many already! I have the Naked 3 but not 1 or 2 so I love seeing posts with them because I don’t have them to play with!

  5. My favourite eyeshadow palette has got to be between the Morphe 35o palette and the Modern Renaissance palette by ABH! I love the tattoo eyeshadows! They are so good to use as a base or alone. So jealous you’ve got the sweet peach tho as it’s the nicest palette😍😍 x

  6. I love the Zoeva palettes my favourites are the Cocoa Blends and Caramel Melange, personally I love the formula as I find the shadows so easy to blend and the pigmentation is great especially when used with an eye primer x

  7. The Naked palette is my favourite palette! I rarely use eyeshadow but when I do I generally reach for it, or one of my MAC palettes that I’ve made up. I haven’t tried and Too Faced eyeshadows before, but I really want to buy the Peach palette!

  8. Firstly, i LOVE that the Maybelline Colour Tattoo got a mention, it’s just so wearable and useful for those quick makeup days! The Naked palette is also such a classic, it was my first high end purchase too and probably what converted me to the land of beauty!! Everyone raves about the Zoeva palettes but I’ve never got round to trying them! (I’ll give in soon I’m sure..)
